Guide to Lahijan

By Road: Lahijan is about 50 km east of Rasht and connected via well-maintained roads. Travelers can reach Lahijan by car, bus, or shared taxis from Rasht, Tehran, or neighboring cities.

By Train: There is no direct train to Lahijan. The nearest rail station is in Rasht, from where visitors can continue by road.

By Flight: The closest airport is Rasht Airport (RAS), which offers domestic flights to major Iranian cities. Lahijan is about a one-hour drive from the airport.

Within Lahijan, local taxis and minibuses are common, but the city’s main attractions are best explored on foot or with short drives.

Lahijan’s lush landscapes make it a beautiful destination year-round, but spring and autumn are the most comfortable seasons.

High season: Spring (March to May) and autumn (late September to early November), when the weather is pleasant, and the tea gardens are at their greenest.

Low season: Summer (late June to early September) can be hot and humid, though still popular among domestic tourists. Winter (December to February) brings frequent rains but remains mild.
